About The Position

As a Fulfillment Associate at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality customer service while ensuring the store is clean, safe, and well-stocked. Your responsibilities will include being friendly and professional, responding quickly to customer and associate needs, and ensuring that merchandise is in good condition and delivered on time. You will assist customers and delivery team members by pulling and preparing orders for pick up, replenishing shelves, and loading merchandise into vehicles. Safety is a priority, as you will frequently lift and move merchandise throughout your shift. Additionally, if assigned to the Pro Department, you will need to be certified on power equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks within 30 days of starting in that department.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months retail experience.
• 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
• 6 months experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
• Respond quickly to customer and associate needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure merchandise is in good condition and accurately accounted for.
• Pull merchandise safely for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Assist customers and staff in moving merchandise safely.
• Prepare orders prior to pick up and replenish shelves for next customers.
• Verify invoices against loaded products to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure deliveries are ready upon truck arrival and assist with loading merchandise.
