Lone Rock Point is seeking a UX Analyst with a strong interest and capabilities in the research and design of engaging and innovative user experiences. This UX Analyst will be responsible for studying users’ needs and whether their clients’ goals align with usability standards with an eye toward providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a Customer Experience engagement. Candidates will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. They also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is critically important.

  • Collaborating on user experience planning.
  • Consulting with clients and a range of team members.
  • Leading meetings with clients to understand requirements.
  • Identifying capabilities/services for end users.
  • Researching and identifying existing content and missing content to support the system development.
  • Creating/designing wireframes, process flows, user personas, and journey maps.
  • Using storyboarding, task analysis, and user research tasks to capture and develop user requirements.
  • Conducting user research activities such as usability testing and surveys.
  • Following up on any submissions from user research activities.
  • Assisting with IT capabilities and support for meetings.
  • Providing overview presentations and Q&A talks for various client teams.
  • Trained in Customer Experience fundamentals.
  • 2 years of experience with O365 fundamentals including SPO, Power Apps and Flow.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your ability to research and design is required including: Experience and examples of authored knowledge base articles, customer journey maps, conducting usability tests, card sorts, field studies, survey analysis, and journey map analysis.
  • Experience and examples of ability to create wireframes.
  • Experience with user interface design patterns and best practice.
  • Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills required including: Creating executive level briefings and project milestone briefings.
  • Ability to listen to customers and understand/gather requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of common software project management, technology products and stacks, as well as development practices.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility requirements.
  • This position has no benefits as it is a Part-Time/Contract role.
