About The Position

The Part Time Framing Team Member at the Canton, MI store is responsible for building customer relationships and creating memorable framing solutions. This role involves assisting customers in finding products, maintaining a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment, and adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Key duties include executing personal design principles to create custom framing solutions, achieving sales and production targets, completing framing orders with high quality and on time, and managing the ready-made frame department. The team member will also provide friendly customer service, support shrink and safety programs, interact respectfully with others, participate in truck un-load and stocking, operate the cash register, handle cash, and assist with Omni channel processes. The Michaels Companies Inc. operates over 1,300 stores across North America and owns Artistree, a custom framing manufacturer.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards
Embrace and execute personal designer by using Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships with all customers while creating Custom Framing solutions.

Maintain the ready made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment
Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop

Support shrink and safety programs

Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget
Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards
