The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking detail-oriented part-time individuals to perform tasks that support our organization. Past experience in sales or agriculture is a plus. The field enumerator position starts at $17.75 plus mileage reimbursement, on-the-job paid training, flexibility, and opportunities for professional advancement. The Field Enumerator supports agricultural producers by gathering reliable, precise, and unbiased data, which provides information that farmers, ranchers, rural communities, and other agricultural businesses depend on. An enumerator conducts interviews with positive representation, effectively communicating benefits in all survey-related activities by thorough interviews with ag operators in person and over the telephone, as well as conducting crop counts in designated agricultural fields. They are trained for specific studies of animal and plant health, farming procedures, and all questionnaires required to do the job effectively. The position requires timely entry of detailed data gathered from agricultural operators and reporting of daily progress, time, and mileage.
