This position will work extensively with cooperative customers, ensuring that the highest level of service is provided. You must be customer focused, hardworking, and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to: Deliver bulk feed to the correct location, load, and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently, assuring accuracy and high quality Receive bulk ingredient loads through mill equipment Responsible for equipment maintenance and sanitation. Responsible for performing proper flushing and sequencing of feeds according to Quality Bulletins and GMP’s. Maintain accurate production and FDA records. Responsible for assuring proper weights are recorded, that customer bills are produced and provided to customers in a timely manner. Responsible for proper inspection and documentation. All required driving and inspection logs are to be completed daily and kept up to date. Visual and safety inspections are to be performed at the start of the shift and appropriately recorded. Responsible for final inspection of feed shipments. Feed is to be inspected and sampled at the time of loading. Skills and Qualifications: Follow all company policies, procedures, and adherence to safety requirements. Ability to work alone and within a team. Communicate any potential issues that may be identified with feed or customers. Working in outdoor and indoor elements, not always climate controlled. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience: High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience. Previous industry experience helpful but not required. Must be able to operate a forklift. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
