About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is actively hiring a Part-time civilian Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide Urgent Care services at the Dumfries Ambulatory Health Center in Dumfries, Virginia. This is a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families in the National Capital Region — all within a collaborative and well-resourced clinical setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited PA program OR Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nursing program
• Any active U.S. state license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner (Family Medicine)
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active DEA registration

Responsibilities

• Provide fast-paced care at 2–3 patients per hour
• Deliver treatment within the clinic’s BLS-level scope
• Work as an extension of Ft. Belvoir’s Emergency Department – patients requiring higher-level care are seamlessly transferred
• Collaborate with seasoned physicians and experienced clinical leadership
