About The Position

Bucks County Community College is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to teach psychology courses at our Newtown campus, starting in the Spring 2026 semester. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching: Introduction to Psychology – Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m. Developmental Psychology: Lifespan – Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to student learning, effective classroom instruction, and fostering an engaging classroom environment.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in psychology or closely related field
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae
  • Cover letter addressing teaching philosophy and relevant experience
  • Unofficial academic transcripts
  • Final candidates will be required to successfully complete a Pennsylvania background check as part of the hiring process.
  • To be considered for employment at Bucks County Community College, applicants must be permitted to legally work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
