About The Position
The Natural Sciences and Engineering Department at Point Park University invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach Physics II (lecture and laboratory) courses during the Spring 2026 semester (January 19 - May 8, 2026). Course Schedule (Indicate which courses you are available to teach in your cover letter): Lecture: Mondays and Wednesdays, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Lecture: Wednesdays, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Lab Section 1: Mondays, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Lab Section 2: Tuesdays, 9:40 AM - 12:40 PM
Requirements
- A master's degree or higher in Physics or a closely related field.
- Applicants must live in the area where classes are taught, or willing to travel to class location at own expense.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience at the college level is preferred but not required.
