Job Summary The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a part-time faculty in Physical Therapy. This position will support and teach integumentary care in the entry-level DPT program and the Post-Professional DPT students. Part time faculty are expected to co-teach in integumentary care, mentoring physical therapy students. Part-time faculty will deliver instruction using lectures, demonstrations, case presentations and class discussions along with laboratory sessions for practical skill development. The course is designed as a clinical applications course and will include laboratory work on peri-wound and wound assessment, debridement, dressings, and therapeutic interventions. A record of teaching the pathophysiology of wounds and burns; the rehabilitation of patients with related acute and sub-acute diseases that require skilled and intermediate care.
