About The Position

The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking qualified applicants to teach GEY 101: Physical Geology with a laboratory. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching and to developing an innovative curriculum. The course is taught using a variety of modalities including in-person & hybrid. The primary location for this position will be the UMA Lewiston Center. Requirements

  • Master's Degree or higher
  • A background in the physical sciences
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in and reside in the continental United States.
  • We are not able to consider applicants who require Visa sponsorship support.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior college level teaching experience, using new technologies in teaching
  • Experience with learning management systems such as Brightspace
