About The Position

The position is for part-time faculty to teach Modern Languages and related coursework. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an 'as needed' basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or above in English and one other language.
• At least eighteen (18) graduate hours of content courses in the teaching field.
• Bilingual required.

Nice To Haves

• Qualifications to teach two languages or to teach English and one language (with eighteen graduate hours in each).
• Prior college teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities
