Bucks County Community College is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to teach HIST 151: U.S. History – Young America at our Newtown campus, starting in the Spring 2026 semester. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching: HIST 151: U.S. History – Young America Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:25 a.m. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to student learning, effective classroom instruction, and student engagement.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in History or a closely related field.
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae
  • Cover letter addressing teaching philosophy and relevant experience
  • Unofficial academic transcripts
  • Final candidates will be required to successfully complete a Pennsylvania background check as part of the hiring process.
  • To be considered for employment at Bucks County Community College, applicants must be permitted to legally work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Bucks County Community College participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
