About The Position

The position involves teaching Engineering Design and Graphics/Drafting Technology related coursework. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an 'as needed' basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of the teaching assignment may include evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Requirements

• Must have an Associate Degree (or higher).
• Must have at least three (3) years of related work experience in Engineering Design Graphics/Drafting Technology.
• Proficiency in software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Revit, CADWorx, Aveva E3D (Everything 3D) or Autodesk Civil 3D.

• Teach Engineering Design and Graphics/Drafting Technology related coursework.
• Utilize various delivery methods for teaching based on student needs and course requirements.
• Maintain a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location as required.
