The School of Health Sciences is seeking a knowledgeable and committed part-time faculty member to join the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program to teach Cross-Sectional Anatomy. The successful candidate will will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality classroom instruction in both lecture and/or laboratory settings, in alignment with the approved course curriculum. The instructor will select and utilize a variety of approved course materials and teaching methods to ensure that the needs of individual students in the program are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Three years of experience in an educational institution
- Three years of experience scanning in a clinical setting.
- RDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/Gyn
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching Cross-Sectional Anatomy.
- Experience educating and supervising students in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess student learning using appropriate methods.
- Actively engage students in classroom discussions and/or activities.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom.
- Conduct an engaging classroom lecture and/or lab based on the course curriculum.
- Complete all course assessments as required.
