Statement: The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time Computer Information Systems faculty and Cybersecurity faculty. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching courses at the undergraduate level in the following areas: Principles of Information Security, Network Security, Governance and Policies, Compliance and Auditing, and Basics of Computing. This appointment will begin in the fall 2026 semester. Requirements

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree (or within 6 months of completion).
  • Must demonstrate the ability to engage students in active learning, include industry experiences into the curriculum, and integrate technology into the classroom.

Nice To Haves

  • Current Cybersecurity and Information Technology industry certifications.
  • One or more years of practical experience.
