Statement: The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time Computer Information Systems faculty and Cybersecurity faculty. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching courses at the undergraduate level in the following areas: Principles of Information Security, Network Security, Governance and Policies, Compliance and Auditing, and Basics of Computing. This appointment will begin in the fall 2026 semester. Requirements

A minimum of a Master’s degree (or within 6 months of completion).
Must demonstrate the ability to engage students in active learning, include industry experiences into the curriculum, and integrate technology into the classroom.

Nice To Haves

Current Cybersecurity and Information Technology industry certifications.
One or more years of practical experience.
