About The Position

The position is for a Part-Time Faculty member to teach Biomedical Clinical Equipment Technology related course work. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an 'as needed' basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of the teaching assignment may include evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Requirements

• Must have an Associate degree (or higher level degree) in Engineering, Electronics, or other related discipline.
• Must have at least five (5) years related work experience in the biomedical equipment field.
• Must have at least five (5) years of documented practical experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician in a hospital, medical clinic, or medical equipment manufacturer/supplier.

Responsibilities

• Teach Biomedical Clinical Equipment Technology related course work.
• Utilize various delivery methods based on teaching area and student needs.
• Maintain a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location as required.
