About The Position

This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time faculty (up to 67%) or temporary substitute assignments on an as needed basis.

We accept applications on a continual basis.

Departments or Divisions will refer to the pool of applications on file, as needed, to fill in temporary assignments.

Applicants will remain in the pool for 12 months.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications for this discipline is any bachelor's degree and at least two years of professional experience OR any associate degree and six years of professional experience, in the field OR the equivalent.
• Applicants must possess and maintain a current ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications: Master Automotive Technician Certification G1 Maintenance and Light Repair L1 Advanced Engine Repair (Required for MAST engine performance instructors only) Other certifications, and or licenses may also be necessary to instruct specific courses
• Must have sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
