About The Position

The position is for a Part-Time Faculty member in Air Conditioning Technology, responsible for teaching related course work. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an 'as needed' basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of the teaching assignment may include evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Requirements

• 5-7 years' full-time work experience in residential and/or commercial heating, air conditioning and refrigeration technology.
• Basic computer literacy skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree or higher in related technology.
• 3 years full-time work experience in residential and/or commercial heating, air conditioning and refrigeration technology.

Responsibilities

• Teach Air Conditioning Technology related course work.
• Utilize various delivery methods based on teaching area and student needs.
• Maintain a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location as required.
