Joyce University is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join our Facilities Team and help ensure that students, employees, and visitors feel secure and cared for while on campus. As a Facilities Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping that experience by ensuring our campus is secure and welcoming.

Requirements

  • Reliability and professionalism-arriving on time and ready to support the team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to de-escalate situations calmly.
  • Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems (security cameras, access control, etc.).
  • Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout campus for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Previous security, facilities, or campus operations experience a plus (but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a visible and welcoming presence in the Security Office.
  • Monitor security cameras and respond promptly to incidents.
  • Support students, employees, and guests with campus access and safety needs.
  • Provide escorts to the parking lot upon request.
  • Assist with ID badge creation and related administrative tasks.
  • Conduct routine checks of classrooms, labs, and common areas.
  • Document and report significant campus occurrences.
  • Uphold professionalism and contribute to a safe, inclusive campus environment.
