Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the District's standard insurance policy terms.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
• Currently have, or the ability to obtain, forklift and aerial lift certification(s).
• Ability to respond to afterhours emergency needs.

Nice To Haves

• Two years maintenance and/or building and grounds maintenance experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to worksite maintenance requests as needed to maintain a safe and functional work site.
• Assist maintenance staff with custodial tasks as assigned.
• Perform light duty painting.
• Open and close the campus as needed during non-standard campus hours.
• Maintain grounds by operating mowers and trimmers and snow removal equipment.
• Assist with snow removal.
• Deliver donated materials to appropriate locations either on or off site campus.
• Load and unload equipment using a forklift.
• Assist with or provide maintenance/repairs and classroom setup, when necessary.
