About The Position

St. Mark School in Catonsville, MD, is seeking a qualified part-time Extended
Care Coordinator for the 2026–2027 school year. The Extended Care Coordinator
should have management experience and experience working with young children. In
addition, the coordinator will be responsible for the direct supervision of
students in the program, as well as program staff. The position’s hours are 2:30
p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Management experience
• Experience working with young children
• MSDE child-care credential or willingness to obtain
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Excellent references

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the Extended Care Program.
• Supervise aides in planning appropriate social, physical, and creative activities for students.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for students.
• Record daily student attendance.
• Work with the Business Office on monthly billing.
• Communicate regularly with Extended Care Program parents regarding concerns or issues, schedule changes, and general administrative matters.
• Supervise Extended Care staff members.
• Communicate all significant concerns and issues to the school administration.
• Comply with all regulations related to the State Letter of Compliance.
• Complete all paperwork required to update and maintain the State Letter of Compliance.
