Requirements

  • Experience in Executive Protection, Emergency Response Teams (ERT), Protective Security Detail (PSD), or Residential Security Teams (RST).
  • Valid Guard Card, Firearm Permit.
  • U.S. Passport & Driver’s License.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of Executive Protection or Residential Security Academy.
  • Ability to complete and pass a pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT).
  • Meet-and-Greet evaluation (dependent on client/location).
  • Background Investigation & Random Drug Screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military, law enforcement, or ERT experience.
  • Specialized training in crisis management, emergency medicine, or incident response.
  • LEOSA/HR 218 or CCW permit.
  • Basic Life Support (AHA); CPR certification.
  • EMT license strongly considered, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Corporate and/or Residential Security Technologies, Tools and Processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a visible, reassuring security presence for executives and staff, while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Act as a first responder to security threats, including active shooter scenarios, within the client’s office suite.
  • Monitor and inspect physical security infrastructure; locks, cameras, access control systems to ensure operational integrity.
  • Produce detailed, timely reports on security incidents and maintain clear communication with GSPS leadership.
  • Assist protective agents in field operations, including advanced walkthroughs, secure transportation, and body coverage.
  • Enforce company policies regarding access, photography, and sensitive areas with professionalism and authority.
  • Follow GSPS protocols during emergencies, prioritizing the safety of executives, staff, and guests.
  • Conduct regular security sweeps and live monitoring of surveillance systems.
  • Collaborate with visiting security teams and facilities management to ensure seamless protective operations.
