The Part-Time Examiner is responsible for the coordination, administration, scoring, and interpretation of a large variety of placement, admission and certification examinations. This role involves administering both computer-based and paper-based exams, interpreting and implementing testing policies and procedures, and preparing logistical paperwork for the administration of tests. The examiner must keep accurate confidential records and ensure the integrity and security of all exams, score and report test results to students and faculty, and assist students with issues related to testing. Additionally, the examiner disseminates information about tests and services provided by the department, enters and retrieves test records, processes scores received from other institutions, gathers and reports daily testing and department data, documents incident/irregularity reports, assists with student feedback and office-related tasks, maintains the security and integrity of test materials, operates a scanner to convert confidential documents into electronic format, and performs other duties as assigned.
