About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Weekend Server to work approximately 8 to 11 hours/week at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. Must be able to work weekdays 4:00pm-7:00pm and weekends during breakfast, brunch, or dinner (including holidays) to be considered for this position. This position will pay up to $16.15/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 14 years old required.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve food to residents and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Set-up the dining room and designated areas in the kitchen in anticipation of meals.
• Clear tables and meet diners' needs.
• Handle food safely and deliver food to apartments.
• Clean kitchen and dining areas.
