About The Position
As a Part Time Evening Trash Collection Service Valet with Valet Living, you will be responsible for the nightly door-to-door collection of trash and recycling items within assigned apartment communities. This role is crucial as you will be the face of Valet Living, playing an integral part in delivering our brand through dedicated service and delighting residents. The position requires you to work in the Charleston area, specifically in zip codes 29420, 29456, and 29485, with hours scheduled from Sunday to Thursday starting at 7:00 PM, allowing for a flexible work-life balance with Fridays and Saturdays off. You will typically work between 10 to 15 hours per week, providing a great opportunity for those looking for part-time employment. To qualify for this position, you must possess a smartphone with a data plan, and have access to an open bed pick-up truck or a vehicle with a trailer to transport trash items from the door to the property compactor. The job also requires a valid driver's license and the physical ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and walk distances. Safety is a top priority, and Valet Living ensures a socially distanced work environment, providing all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as face coverings, gloves, and safety vests free of charge.
