About The Position

The Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. This position requires working from 4pm to 9pm with variable hours, including rotating holidays and weekends. The essential functions of employment include showing up for work on time and prepared for each scheduled workday, performing all assigned tasks and processes, and maintaining a positive and supportive attitude while collaborating with team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Lab experience is desired.
• Must have good computer skills.
• Demonstrate manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Must be available for scheduled vacation and emergency coverage as needed.
• Must be available to rotate weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and answering phones.
• Process specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Plates specimens for microbiology testing.
• May perform initial phases of testing.
• Works alongside technologists to assist in producing patient results.
• Sort incoming specimens, prioritizing and immediately processing STAT and other critical tests.
• Must be able to work in two computer systems proficiently.
