Part-time Evening Janitor - Justice Center
About The Position
The principle purpose of this position is to maintain a clean environment. This position works alternating pay periods, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off (17.5 hrs./wk) Essential Functions and Responsibilities The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily and successfully with or without reasonable accommodations to be qualified for the position. Other duties may be required and assigned. 60% Vacuuming, dusting and polishing. (Some positions may include bathrooms). 30% Removal and disposal of garbage and recyclables. 10% Performs other duties as assigned. In evaluating candidates for this position, Ozaukee County may consider a combination of education, training, and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Six months cleaning experience to obtain basic skills and understanding of requirements.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and twist
- Good vision to perform duties and responsibilities
- Ability to carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, dusting and polishing.
- Removal and disposal of garbage and recyclables.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
