About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Evening Cleaner in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for children and staff. Clean and sanitize classrooms, play areas, restrooms, and common spaces Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed Dust furniture, shelves, and equipment Empty trash bins and replace liners Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and other supplies Follow proper safety protocols and use cleaning products according to instructions Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly before closing Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment Hours are Monday thru Friday 6pm-9pm Rate of pay $13.00hr.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning and janitorial work, preferably in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work evening hours on a part-time basis
- Reliable transportation to commute to Cleveland Heights location
- Must pass background check
