About The Position

The Part Time Educator at Right At School is responsible for delivering engaging educational programs to children aged 5-13 in a safe and supportive environment. This role involves organizing materials, leading activities, and fostering a love of learning while ensuring the well-being of students. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children aged 5-13 in a formal childcare setting.
• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lift 40lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements such as CPR and Mandated Reporter training.

Nice To Haves

• College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance and incidents.
• Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building activities.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being of all children.
• Support homework completion and lead fun fitness activities.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.
