As our EDDA, you’ll be essential in creating a welcoming, supportive environment for our patients and team. Your role includes: Welcoming Patients• Greet patients warmly and create a friendly atmosphere Patient Prep & Chair-Side Assistance• Prepare patients for treatment• Assist the dentist during procedures• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols Instrument & Equipment Setup• Select and organize tools and materials for procedures Coronal Polishing & Oral Hygiene Education• Perform polishing to leave smiles sparkling• Teach patients how to care for their teeth at home Post-Op Care• Provide clear, compassionate instructions after treatment At Mount Sterling Pediatric Dentistry, we’re more than a dental office—we’re a team that celebrates wins, supports growth, and makes every day fun and fulfilling. Requirements

  • A friendly and energetic personality

  • A detail-oriented, organized, quick learner with an attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive environment
  • Must have a Highschool Diploma or equivalent (such as a GED)
  • X-Ray Certificate: Dental assistants should be certified to take dental X-rays. This ensures they can safely operate X-ray equipment and capture accurate images.
  • Coronal Polishing: Proficiency in performing coronal polishing procedures is required. This involves removing stains and plaque from patients’ teeth.
  • EDDA (Expanded Duties Dental Assistant): These assistants have additional training and can perform more advanced tasks, such as placing dental sealants or assisting with certain surgical procedures.
