About The Position

The position involves greeting customers in a courteous and professional manner, opening new accounts accurately and efficiently according to regulations and bank policy, and scanning all new account documents in a timely manner. The role requires maintaining a balanced and neat cash drawer, completing all deposits, withdrawals, and payments accurately while providing excellent customer service. Additionally, the position entails maintaining a working knowledge of CSI’s online applications and proper compliance procedures in the deposit area. Responsibilities also include working with night deposits and ATM deposits under dual control, directing customers to appropriate bank departments, and completing necessary customer deposit holds.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years with a similar financial institution
  • Working knowledge of bank policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of deposit compliance regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivator
  • Able to prioritize

Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Open all new accounts accurately and efficiently according to regulation and bank policy
  • Scan all new account documents in a timely manner
  • Maintain a balanced and neat cash drawer
  • Complete all deposits, withdrawals and payments accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain working knowledge of CSI’s online applications
  • Maintain working knowledge of proper compliance procedures in the deposit area
  • Work night deposits and ATM deposits under dual control
  • Direct and refer customers to appropriate bank department for service when necessary
  • Complete holds to necessary customer deposits
  • Log all individual cash transactions over $3,000 on CTR log
  • Complete Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) as necessary
  • Keep all work areas neat and clean
  • Research and resolve customer issues
  • Assist in solving customer problems
  • Refer and cross-sell products
  • Accurate completion of required audit logs
  • Adhere to all bank policies
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is in working order including but not limited to drive-up equipment and ATM
  • Oversee balancing and maintenance of the ATM
  • Ensure all negotiables and confidential records in the teller/CSR area are properly secured each evening
  • Answer branch phone calls promptly and deal with those calls accurately and in a professional manner
  • Attend all necessary staff training
  • Attend all bank sponsored activities
  • Attend civic activities and events
  • Assist customers with all online and mobile banking issues and questions
  • Accept yearly Safe Deposit Box payments
  • Ensure all bank information and systems are protected
  • Assist branch management and branch administrator with any other duties as assigned
