About The Position

Morrison Center is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP), to be based in North Berwick, Maine Morrison Center is hiring an additional Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP), 16 Hours a week, Monday - Thursday 8am - Noon. Dsp is assisting another DSP in a related shared living home to provide supports for full support with transfers using lift, support with hygiene and activities of daily living, support to transition into community integration and transitions into accessible vehicle. Engage with individual for social and fine/gross motor skills as well. Shared Living Provider is always present and would be responsible for med passes. Requirements of the Direct Support Professional: HS Diploma or GED Required DSP Certification preferred but will train the right candidate CPR/First Aid Certification Safety training such as Mandt, Safety Care, etc. Valid Maine Driver’s license required and a clean driving record Experienced with transfers in and out of wheelchair, using a lift, and is comfortable working in someone’s private home with the Shared Living DSP who resides there as well. Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED Required
