About The Position
We are looking for a part-time Driving Instructor to work weekdays and a minimum of one Saturday and/or Sunday. This role involves instructing teenagers and adults aged 16 and up on how to drive an automobile on public roadways. Instructors will assist in preparing students for the Massachusetts RMV Road Test, focusing on all maneuvers required by the RMV to successfully obtain a driver's license. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with young people and possess the patience, skills, and sometimes humor necessary to help them learn. It is essential to create a positive learning environment while ensuring safety is the top priority. In addition to behind-the-wheel instruction, there is potential for classroom instruction on state-mandated material needed for students to earn their driver education certificate. For those who do not currently hold a Professional Driving School Instructor license, we will provide training and guidance to prepare for the instructor exam at the RMV. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.
