Rose Senior Living Farmington Hills is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This position will be for Mondays and Wednesdays 10:00am - 2:00pm and is responsible for transporting residents to medical appointments, personal errands, or fun group outings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
- Michigan Chauffer's License preferred.
- An employment history & physical exam, tuberculin skin test or chest X-ray, drug screen, criminal background screening, employment references from previous employers, and verification with the OIG list of excluded individuals/entities to confirm your eligibility to work in health care is required.
Responsibilities
- Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
- Assist residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
- Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
- Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
- Clean and wash vehicle.
- Run errands as needed for Life Enrichment department.
- Help with Life Enrichment activities and tasks as needed.
- Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
