Friendship is looking for Drivers to join our team on a Part-Time basis! Hours and hours vary. CDL a plus! Some short weekend hours required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Driver’s License in the state of Virginia
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus
Must be able to occasionally lift or move objects weighing 50 pounds
Use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and walk

Responsibilities

Transporting residents using the Friendship bus or taxi
Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle in safe manner
Adhere to scheduled pick up and drop off times; anticipates travel times to accommodate schedules
Examine vehicles for cleanliness; remove any trash and clean car handles with anti-bacterial wipes after each transport
Adhere to vehicle maintenance standards; examine vehicles regularly and reports any maintenance or safety issues to Director immediately
Assist with resident activities as directed
