About The Position

The Dixon Group is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Driver to
support our local operations in Chestertown, MD. This role is ideal for someone
who enjoys working independently, takes pride in reliability and safety, and
wants consistent part-time hours with competitive pay.

As a Driver, you will operate a company shuttle van to transport materials
between local locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while
representing The Dixon Group in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, maneuver, and transport items weighing up to 50lbs
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High level of reliability, responsibility, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
• Comfortable working in a professional office and business environment
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and deliver materials between local business operations
• Load and unload items from company vehicles, ensuring proper handling and care
• Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
• Follow assigned schedules, routes, and safety procedures
• Complete special assignments or additional tasks as needed
