About The Position

Cub Blaine East is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time donut fryer position! The donut fryer is responsible for preparing donuts and other fried pastries to maintain Cub's reputation for fresh and delicious baked goods. This role involves frying, glazing/icing, decorating and packaging donuts while providing superior customer service.

Requirements

• Equipment operation (timer, mixer, scale, knife, reversible sheeter, donut cutter, scraper, proof box, donut sticks, hopper, fryer, screens, icing warmer, Bismark pump, luggers, spatula)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age and older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, fry and finish donuts
• Stock, rotate and face fried product
• Perform clean up of department
• Assist with department merchandising as directed
• Assist with customer questions or requests
