Part-Time Dock/Warehouse - Evenings
About The Position
Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is seeking a Part-time Dock/Warehouse Associate to join our team in Highspire, PA. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with inventory control. Ideal for current students or those looking for an extra shift, this position offers up to 20-25 hours per week, including flexible late afternoon hours. The perfect candidate should have the flexibility to work the required hours, possess the physical capability to meet job demands, and be willing to maintain the dock/warehouse according to Dempsey standards.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Able to lift and carry 75 pounds.
- Must have a highly reliable work/school performance record.
- Reliable transportation to report to work as scheduled.
- Flexibility to work part-time evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload products/supplies from delivery vehicles.
- Assist with inventory control.
- Maintain a clean environment, organize products, and appropriately dispose of waste/trash.
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe manner and in accordance with OSHA standards and directives.
- Report any unsafe conditions or practices to management promptly.
