About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our customer's buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Duties include, but not limited to: Overall duties include removing debris and maintaining common space areas. Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures. Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, dusting, window cleaning, clean and maintain restrooms. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Use proper PPE where required. Clean all common space areas including kitchen, cafeteria, lobby and break room. Place safety hazard signs in the building including 'wet floor' signs as necessary. Monitor, clean, service and restock bathrooms. Respond immediately to any major spills or other cleaning crisis.

Requirements

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
• 1-2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
