About The Position

To clean and maintain assigned areas, buildings, facilities and grounds within the County.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months working experience in custodial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Janitorial Duties: Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs or polishes floors. Cleans offices including desks, windows and hallways. Cleans restrooms including toilets, sinks and floors. Performs trash removal and moves supplies to designated locations.
• Equipment Operation: Able to operate vacuum cleaners, hand tools, scrubber, electrostatic sprayer & buffing machine.
• Product Ordering and Stocking: Tracks stock and prepares monthly list of cleaning items needed for completion of job tasks.
• Attends training, seminars or in-services as required.
• Performs other job-related duties as required and as assigned.
