About The Position

Academics Plus Charter Schools, Inc. (APCSI) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Part-time Custodian for the Maumelle Charter Middle School campus. The custodian should be able to p rovide maintenance and custodial services as needed and/or as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Successful completion of the pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a cleaning schedule that will include cleaning of floors, chalkboards, wastebaskets, windows, furniture, equipment, and restrooms.
• Maintain a program of preventive maintenance to ensure the comfort, health, and safety of students and staff.
• Move furniture, equipment of materials within building and across campuses as directed by principal or supervisor
• Keep school building and grounds, including sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and play areas neat and clean.
• Assist with the cleanup in the cafeteria during breakfast and lunch periods, cleaning trays, removing trash, etc, as directed by supervisor.
• Perform some heavy lifting.
• Perform work at varying heights on a ladder.
• Other duties as assigned.
