About The Position

The Eberly College of Science, Forensic Science program seeks to hire part-time FRNSC 415 Course Assistants for the 2025/2026 academic school year. The successful candidates will be expected to perform various duties related to facilitating the learning of laboratory concepts and assisting students in their practical exercises.

Requirements

• Applicants must be Forensic Science majors

Responsibilities

• Interact with students and facilitate learning of laboratory concepts
• Prepare and provide laboratory demonstrations, mock case exercises, reagents, equipment, and supplies to students
• Track, order, store, and maintain equipment and supplies
• Assist with creation, cleanup, and assessment of lab practicums, lab exercises, case folders, and mock crime scenes
• Proctor lab practicums and mock scene exercises
• Monitor environment for safety and health issues
• Monitor students and their progress in course
