About The Position

Synergy Care is looking for a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant for an open part time position at Hidden Springs of McKinney in McKinney, TX. Job Summary The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide occupational therapy services to individuals with physical, developmental, emotional, or cognitive challenges. The COTA assists patients in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living, work, and leisure activities.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current state licensure or certification as a COTA
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• CPR certification (preferred or required, depending on facility)
