About The Position

Our company is seeking Part Time cook to join our team of exceptional caregivers. We are looking for individuals with a desire to contribute and make a difference in the lives of the community we serve. The Dietary Cook’s primary duties include preparing and cooking family style meals for residents of skilled nursing facility.

Requirements

• Prior experience preferred but not necessary.
• One-year institutional food service experience as a cook preferred.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition to supervisor or nurse.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking family style meals for residents of skilled nursing facility.
