Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in food preparation (especially for large groups)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to complete required training (CPR, First Aid, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for youth and staff
• Plan menus that meet USDA and NC Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment
• Order and track food supplies
• Support cultural diversity in meal planning
