About The Position

The Hilton Garden Inn is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Cook to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with brand standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and food safety at all times. This role ensures consistent food quality, proper presentation, and timely service while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Requirements

  • Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate food items according to standardized recipes and brand specifications.

  • Ensure food quality, taste, temperature, and presentation meet Hilton Garden Inn standards.

  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.

  • Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, or room service preparation as assigned.

  • Set up and break down kitchen stations before and after service.
  • Preparar y desmontar las estaciones de cocina antes y después del servicio.
  • Monitor food inventory, rotate stock, and minimize waste following FIFO standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
