KENTECH Consulting Inc. is seeking a talented and creative Course Designer on a part-time contract basis to design, develop, and implement engaging and effective learning experiences for our employees and clients. This role requires a strong understanding of instructional design principles, technical skills in e-learning tools, and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to manage their time effectively, and is comfortable working remotely. As a Course Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, interactive online courses and learning materials that align with the organization's objectives and learning goals. You will create engaging multimedia content, including videos, quizzes, simulations, and assessments, to enhance the learning experience. Conducting needs assessments to identify learning objectives, target audiences, and knowledge gaps will be a key part of your role, using data-driven insights to inform course design. Collaboration is essential in this position, as you will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure course content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to learners' needs. You will manage the development of courses on a part-time basis, ensuring timely completion within the agreed-upon scope and budget. Utilizing e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS) will be part of your daily tasks. Continuous improvement is also a focus, as you will evaluate the effectiveness of courses through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making data-driven improvements as needed. Compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements is crucial, as is designing courses with a strong focus on user experience, ensuring ease of navigation, accessibility, and learner engagement. Finally, you will develop and maintain documentation for all course materials, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
