About The Position
The Part-Time Continuing Education Instructor teaches and works with Recreation and Leisure and/or Continuing Workforce development courses. This role involves preparing course outlines and syllabi, teaching both lecture and laboratory sections, and maintaining accurate attendance records. The instructor is responsible for developing teaching and learning strategies that optimize student performance and curriculum development. Additionally, the instructor participates in textbook and technology committees, complies with department and College policies, and works closely with the Chairperson or designee to provide substitute instruction as needed. The instructor may also assist with recruitment, retention, and other functions as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.
