What You Can Expect to Do in This Role: You will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, guests, and visitors. As the first point of contact, you will handle a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: answering phone calls, responding to resident inquiries, handling package deliveries, and providing information about the building and the surrounding area. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn leasing-related tasks and gain experience in property management. Position Summary: This position requires a passion for people and a dedication to providing superior customer service within a luxury residential setting. The role is often fast-paced, requiring excellent time management and problem-solving skills. On a daily basis, you will interact with residents and guests from varied backgrounds, requiring an amicable personality. Working as a Waypoint Concierge means ensuring the needs and requests of residents are met, providing them with a memorable 5-star, community-living experience. You’ll also have opportunities to assist with leasing-related activities, such as conducting property tours and supporting leasing efforts.

Requirements

  • Previous concierge, hospitality, or customer service experience; interest in leasing and property management is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable with technology; willingness to learn property management software (experience with Yardi is a bonus).
  • Outgoing, polished, and professional demeanor with a focus on delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Work part-time, 20 hours per week
  • Demonstrate superior customer service at all times with a genuine desire to serve.
  • Warmly greet and direct residents and guests arriving at or departing from the property.
  • Maintain an active presence at the front desk, monitor and announce visitors, and control access to the property.
  • Handle concierge duties with enthusiasm, including but not limited to:
  • Processing incoming mail and outgoing packages.
  • Answering questions and making recommendations about transportation, restaurants, and local attractions.
  • Assisting with personal requests such as dry cleaning, travel planning, or coordinating housekeeping services.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the local area, attractions, and services to enhance residents’ experiences.
  • Maintain familiarity with all community amenities and events. Provide tours and information about the property to prospects, when needed.
  • Adhere to all front desk procedures and assist with administrative tasks as requested.
  • Ensure resident and guest concerns are resolved professionally and promptly.
  • Support leasing activities, such as guiding prospective residents, providing information on available units, and assisting with tours.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
