About The Position

As Community Curator for The Canyons by Shea Homes, a 1,270-acre new-home community in Castle Pines, you'll have the opportunity to guide prospective home buyers as they discover the beautiful topography, visionary plans for the community's future, and the incredible selection of homes. With a 'sense of place' and an appreciation for our brand, you'll curate exceptional experiences for our guests at our Information Center, helping them understand our commitment to environmental stewardship, our vision to support active, outdoor lifestyles, and the significance The Canyons brings to Castle Pines and Douglas County.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years in customer/client service position
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Exhibits confidence with public speaking, presentation and listening skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, along with superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • A positive, energetic attitude; self-motivated and strong ability to anticipate needs and deliver strategic solutions
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with reliable transportation to support occasional local travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Event planning experience preferred
  • An associate's degree in marketing, communications or a related field preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office platform. Competent in Excel spreadsheets. Familiarity with CRM database systems (Mailchimp) and WordPress a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create a seamless, engaging, memorable experience for guests by providing information and collateral about the community and new home opportunities available.
  • Collaborate with The Exchange Coffee House personnel to ensure both Info Center and Coffee House team members are kept current of important day-to-day operations information, community events, etc.
  • Provide professional, timely and courteous responses to our builder partners, and if asked, assist with the coordination/logistics associated with informational/community update presentations and community outreach events.
  • Collaborate with the Shea and HOA colleagues to develop community events and/or presentations that drive interest and traffic to the community. Maintain flexibility to work community events when requested.
  • Assist Marketing/Community Relations Manager by providing input in the development and maintenance of community collateral material, website, promotions and events.
  • Assist the Marketing/Community Relations Manager with maintaining the Visitor Registration database.
  • Assist the Marketing/Community Relations Manager with oversight of the community's email, ensuring responses to queries are on message and delivered promptly.
